A Simple Favor (2018)

No one under 18 should see this one. Stephanie, a widowed
mother, who also runs a cooking vlog, befriends Emily, a well-dressed crass beautiful
miserable secretive woman whose child goes to the same elementary school as Stephanie's.
Suddenly Emily goes missing and Stephanie starts investigating – let the movie
begin.
It’s hard to meld mystery
crime and comedy and make it work but this one does it.
Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick both do a
tremendous job with their characters. Watch
with your bff - the girls are amazing, and this movie is a fun watch – adults
only.
Those who hate chick
flicks don’t worry. Good dialogue with good twists that keep you guessing. The clothing and style in the film are amazing. This film should be
seen by people who enjoy a good mystery. This movie is hard to explain without
ruining it. If you watch it, see if you
don’t enjoy detective Summerville played by Bashir Salahuddin as much as we
did.
