MY FAVORITE MOVIES & RECOMMENDATIONS

1 - CAUTION - Most of my selections are for all ages, but parents should be selective on the more violent films such as braveheart and the few that contain slight nudity such as Notebook, but which I believe can be instructive if viewed with the parent at an appropriate age such as 13 and especially if they show an interest in seeing the films; sadly they will most likely find a way to see it with or without you. So I recommend you see it with them and explain rights and wrongs along the way and influence them in a positive manner vs what they may get from friends or school. Parents must teach & demonstrate Godly character traits during their formitive years at home enabling them to stand firm as they enter adulthood or else when they enter high school, college and the work force some day they will be eaten alive and fall for all the worldly seductions out there waitng for them. We can and should shelter our kids from evil but we do them a diservice if they are totally ignorant of what awaits them in the adult world. Teach them to be as cunning as a wolf but as gentle as a lamb. We must somehow weave in wisdom and understanding of life as they ask questions and are curious. God will provide teachable moments if we watch for them. Above all pray for them for we cannot keep them safe under our wings forever. We must someday let them become adultsand make lives of their own and serve God into the next generation - hoping we have not completely failed them. They must carry the torch and pass it on to their children as we have. May the grace and peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you all.

The ANSWER TO all your problems!

Jesus Christ died on a cross almost 2000 yrs ago to buy back what Adam & Eve lost at the beginning of mankind in the garden of Eden. If we could have earned salvation thru performing more good deeds than bad-- Jesus would not have had to come and die on the cross of Calvary. The fact that he did come is one proof that we indeed do need a savior. Thru faith/trust in Christ alone you can receive the gift of salvation; Always remember good deeds have nothing to do with salvation (Eph 2:8-9) - Christ paid the price we could never pay (Eph 1:7) (Rom 3:23); he purchased our ticket to heaven for all who will receive Him(Rom 6:23 & John 3:16). But He will not force it upon anyone and it is not automatic (Rom 10:9-10 & Mathew 7:21) -- (1Cor15:3-4) -- The point is -- if we could have earned our own salvation thru good works then Christ died for nothing. We need Jesus -- for there is no other name under heaven whereby man MUST be saved (Acts 4:12). Don't trust me -- simply pray for God to reveal himself to you and then read God's manual (the holy bible) to living life to it's fullest -- start by reading Acts through Jude; then read 4 gospels; then old testament; the lastly Revelation which is not understandable without context of rest of Scripture.
God promises He will open your spiritual eyes and you'll see truth if you really want to see. He tells us to seek Him like we would lost treasure with all your heart. Unless you really want to find it you never will -- it's one of those mysteries of God people talk about. As Jesus said many times "He who has ears to hear, let him hear". May you find true peace & joy thru our Lord and savior Jesus Christ the one and only true God - The great I AM! NOTE: Please don't fall for the devil's trick
that makes people think they have to get there act together before they can come to God -- It's a lie -- Jesus said TODAY is the day of salvation and He promised to change you after you accept him -- not the other way around. The entire point is that we CANNOT get ourselves straight -- we need Jesus to change. The christain life isn't hard to live, it's impossible -- On our own we are doomed. Does that mean we don't even try, obviously not -- Christ said to repent or perish. So even though we don't have to wait until we get our act together to accept Jesus, we most definitely must repent and make a conscious choice to turn from our sinful ways to let Jesus change us. It will take time and it is a daily walk with God. Some things in your life God may change immediately and others may take years to overcome. This is NOT a magic formula. He has a specific mission just for you - people only you can reach. Broad is the road that leads to destruction, but narrow is the way that leads to life and few be there that find it. Please be one of those that chooses life. You'll spend the rest of your mortal life being a light for Jesus and becoming more like Him until we finally end up in eternity -- in Heaven with Christ. Those who don't choose Christ's salvation sadly end up in an eternal Hell. He will not force anyone to be with him for eternity. You say I do wish it; well then read the bible for yourself and find the true God and accept the gift of eternal life after which He promised to change you into a new creation. He said we will suffer persecution in this life for Christ's sake, but that the sufferings of this present age are not worthy to be compared to the glory that will be revealed at His 2nd coming. And the Bible says that " eye hath not seen nor ear heard the wondrous things God has in store for those who love Him. " Note -- just believing all this with head knowledge is not enough -- Satan believes in Jesus and trembles. It must be a surrender of your life to Jesus thru faith making Him Lord and master of your entire life before He becomes your savior. When you sincerely pray that prayer, then Christ saves you as promised in scripture and sends His Holy Spirit to live in your heart leading you to become more like Jesus day after day until you die & go to heaven. Remember works don't save you, but after you're saved you will do good works in His name as thanks and obediance to your Lord. Just as you love and obey your parents while growing up because you want them to be proud of you. Solomon said Let us hear the end of the matter; Fear God and obey His commandments -- this the whole duty of man on earth. The Holy Bible holds the answers and once you accept Christ the Holy Ghost will guide you into all truth as you walk daily with God -- it's a life long journey. Won't you accept Jesus today and begin your great adventure he has prepared for you. You're never too old or too young.

Remember there is no one so bad he cannot be saved nor anyone so good he need not be saved.
